Weekly School Year Programs:
Power Hour - Time dedicated to homework with staff ready and willing to help out anyway they can. Power Hour is offered Monday - Thursday from 3pm-4pm, and members are encouraged to continue their work even after the program ends.
Game Room Challenge - The game room is the heart and soul of a Boys and Girls Club. This program teaches members the skills and techniques used to master these games. There are many different options available in our game room such as pool, bumper pool, foosball, video games and more. The staff will pick a game, set the rules and invite members to sign up to play. Winners will have their name posted as reigning champion for that game until someone can best them the next time it is offered. Game Room Challenge is offered every Monday from 5pm-6pm
Triple Play - This program is designed to teach members to make healthier choices in their lives. From exercising to eating habits to self esteem issues, this is a well rounded program for all. Triple Play is offered every Monday from 4pm-5pm.
Smart Moves - Everyone knows all the dangers that lurk out in the world right? No they don't, that is why this program helps members understand the world around them and how to be observant and identify dangers like drugs and alcohol before some stranger introduces them to it. Smart Moves is offered every Thursday from 4:30pm-5pm
Mentor - Pairing members with staff or volunteers, this program gives members an opportunity to bond with an adult and they are able, either in small group settings or one on one, to share anything in their life. The mentors help guide the members in making good life decisions and are always available to that member in or out of the program time.
