Our Main Programs We Offer Include:
PowerHour: Club members are taught to be self-directed and cooperative learners. Students can receive homework assistance from staff and teachers. This program is run Monday through Thursday. All club members are expected to participate. If the club member does not have any homework, educational games and projects will be provided.
Torch Club: Torch Club is a small leadership development program for ages 11 to 13. Members elect officers. Also, they plan and implement their own activities and community service projects. Torch Club provides club members opportunities to have a voice.
Triple Play: The goal of the Triple Play program is to help improve club members' knowledge of healthy habits. Members increase the number of hours per day they participate in physical activities, and strengthen their ability to interact positively with others.
Smart Girls: Members are led by female staff in discussing issues young women face today including: health, fitness, peer pressure, prevention, education and self-esteem enhancement program for girls ages 8 to 17.
Passport to Manhood: Members are led by male staff to discuss issues they are facing today. The program teaches responsibility while reinforcing positive behavior in male club members ages 11 to 14.
